Monthly rental

As we know, land is scarce in Singapore. Monthly rental of a 2.6-hectare plot of land is not a small sum, especially for a non-profit society like GUI.

Space Maintenance

We can no longer rely solely on volunteers to maintain such a big space. It takes a lot more resources to care for the Kampung on a daily basis.

Programme Outreach

With more resources, we can develop new programmes, train new facilitators, scale up our marketing efforts and reach out to a wider audience.

Future Expansion

We want to grow our team, build a system and replicate our success in other parts of Singapore when the right opportunities come.

“If not enough people want to come and continue the torch, then maybe GUI is just a dream, a nice to have dream but impossible to attain… So the people have to decide whether they want this to continue, for the good and sustainability of humanity.”
