Multi-use Christmas Tree Making


This Christmas season, save trees and forests with your loved ones to build a unique Christmas tree with display racks and storage box for all year round!

As part of our green initiative to minimise use of resources, Touchwood GUI, the craft arm of GUI, has been using wood pieces retrieved from recycled pallets for making of furniture as well as running of woodworking workshops since 2016.

This wood pallet recycling project will include painting, designing, sawing, measuring, drilling, sanding, assembling, and the use of machinery.

Tree Height: 75cm
Box Dimension: 40cm x 12cm

Materials provided:

  • wooden beads snowman
  • 4 wooden photo clips
  • 2m long battery-operated fairy lights

(For those who adore mini woodcrafts, try your hands on making mini wooden houses and ornaments for your Christmas tree decoration.)

Come in a group* and bring home a tree.
*Recommended at least two and not more than four people as each will be assigned different tasks.

Best suited for children ages 7 and above with an adult or siblings.

Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm


A minimum of 4 groups is required to run the workshop.
