If you are looking for a unique farm-to-table experience in the rustic wilder side of urban Singapore, you’ve come to the right place!
We will welcome you to our organic farm, giving you an overview of our values and practices at Ground-Up Initiative, as well as the opportunity to harvest your very own pizza-making ingredients from our garden.
You are welcome to be creative with your pizza toppings. On top of basic components like cheese and tomato sauce, we offer a wide array of plant-based toppings sourced from our garden and beyond! Some delicious possibilities are blue pea flowers (to colour your dough), mulberry (for a sweet touch on the pizza), papaya (which can shredded and mixed with the cheese), basil (for spice), and kale!
Then we will kick off our wood-fired, plant-based pizza-making experience. You will be taught the process of making pizza dough by hand, including the basic techniques of kneading and proofing dough.
As a finishing touch, you get to bake your pizza in our wood-fired earth oven. Each participant gets to pack home two gourmet pizzas. Please bring containers that are big enough to contain two 7-inch pizzas.
