If you are looking for a unique farm-to-table experience in the rustic wilder side of urban Singapore, you’ve come to the right place!
We will welcome you to our organic farm, giving you an overview of our values and practices at Ground-Up Initiative. We will take you on a short sensory farm tour to learn about various indigenous and naturalised vegetables, flowers and herbs.
You are welcome to be creative and forage for your bread fillings/toppings. Some delicious possibilities are blue pea flowers (to colour your dough), mulberry (for sweetness), and basil (for spice).
Then we will kick off our wood-fired bread-making workshop. You will be taught the process of basic bread making: mixing ingredients, kneading the dough, proofing, shaping, and baking.
We will then bake the bread in the earth oven. Each participant gets to pack home two types of bread:
- A flavourful, crusty, rustic bread, baked using artisan methods
- A classic sweet and soft cinnamon roll that smells and tastes incredible from the buttery blend of cinnamon spice and caramelised brown sugar
Please bring containers that are big enough to contain two breads.
Enquiries on private sessions are welcome. Please email email@example.com for more details.
